On June 9, 2008, Olefins 2 Kuwait (OL2K) signed the Notice of Mechanical Completion (MC) Acceptance of the new OL2K Ethylene Glycol 2 (EG2) facility which is a major milestone of the OL2K program.

None of this would have been possible without the great team effort by all and the team did it with an impressive safety performance record of over 6 million man-hours without any lost time injury (LTI).

All involved teams deserve a lot of appreciation and gratitude for their role in achieving this goal.

The MC was achieved on June 8, 2008.

Preparations are underway for plant commissioning.
