Nadia AlHajji is the Deputy Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for olefins and aromatics at the Petrochemical Industries Company (PIC). She serves as Chairman of Kuwait Vietnam Petrochemicals Company in addition to being a Board member of Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC), EQUATE Marketing Company and The Kuwait Olefins Company (TKOC). She previously served as a director on the Board of PIC and EQUATE Marketing Company.

AlHajji also heads the downstream K-companies R&T Committee and the R&T Technical Committee for the downstream K-Companies. She is a member of the Higher Steering Committee for the R&T and R&D of K-companies.

Currently, she manages the business development, marketing activities and PIC’s major projects around the world. Before joining PIC, she was Deputy CEO of petrochemicals and LNGI at the Kuwait Integrated Petroleum Industries Company (KIPIC) where she played a leading role in its establishment. Prior, she served as Corporate Planning Manager at KIPIC and Technical Services Manager at KNPC refineries.

AlHajji holds a B.E. in Chemical Engineering from Kuwait University.

Isam Shomaly is Dow’s Business Vice President, Feedstocks and Commodities. Shomaly oversees and assumes setting the strategic direction and driving the business results of this critical Dow business which is responsible for ensuring the company’s downstream businesses have access to a reliable, economically competitive, and sustainable supply of feedstocks. Dow being one of the largest global producers of ethylene and propylene, Shomaly and his team are responsible for sourcing, hedging and trading approximately 1 million barrels per day of feedstocks and managing the related infrastructure of mining, storage and pipelines (MSP) for the company. Additionally, he co-leads Dow’s decarbonize and grow strategy ensuring Dow’s ability to reduce carbon emissions aligned with the company’s 2030 and 2050 emissions reduction and carbon neutrality targets.

Shomaly brings strong banking, business, financial and negotiating skills to his work, as well as a multi-cultural background. Shomaly holds a B.Sc. degree in Business Administration from the University of Jordan, Amman, Jordan, and he is a CMA, CFM and CICP. He is an active member of IMA and FCIB organizations.

Shomaly also serves as a Lead Dow board member in EQUATE Marketing Company (EMC), The Kuwait Olefins Company (TKOC) and The Kuwait Styrene Company (TKSC).

Feras Alawwad, is the Deputy Chief Executive Officer for Projects and Business Development at Petrochemical Industries Company (PIC),

His career spans over 26 years in the Petrochemical Industry at various roles including Operations, Project Management and Business development activities.   In his current role, Alawwad is instrumental in overseeing major projects and spearheading Business Development and Research & Development (R&D) activities in addition to his responsibility of managing PIC’s current Joint Ventures.

His expertise extends beyond his current role, as evidenced by his board memberships at several notable organizations, including Kuwait Integrated Petroleum Industries Company (KIPIC), The Kuwait Styrene Company (TKSC) and  Sk picglobal in South Korea.

Alawwad holds a Bachelor Degree in  Chemical Engineering from Iowa State University.

Asmaa Ali Alqallaf, serves as the Deputy Managing Director of International Marketing Operations at Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC) and as a board member at Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC). She brings over 31 years of experience to the Oil & Gas industry, with a focus on International Marketing Planning and Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE).

At KPC, Alqallaf has been instrumental in shaping long-term strategies and major oil projects, including the development of the Mid/Long Term Plans and Strategy for KPC-IM as well as HSSE 2040 Strategy for the Oil Sector, the GHG Management Strategy and Roadmap, and the HSSE Management System. She has also played a significant role in the Kuwait National Communication for the State of Kuwait GHG Inventory.

A key aspect of her tenure was establishing Value Chain Optimization within KPC-IM, enhancing operational efficiency across crude and gas production, refining processes, and product mix. This initiative aimed to improve KPC’s operating margin through optimization across the value chain.

Alqallaf’s leadership extended to committee roles within KPC and its subsidiaries, contributing significantly to projects like the Clean Fuels Project (CFP) and the implementation of HSSE strategies and management systems.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, as the Head of the Oil Sector COVID-19 Committee, she was pivotal in developing policies to maintain safe work environments and ensure business continuity.

Alqallaf holds a B.Sc. in Chemical Engineering from Kuwait University, underlining her technical expertise in the field.

Tyler Edgington is the Feedstocks Director for Dow Europe responsible for securing low-cost, advantaged feed for Dow’s ethylene assets in Europe.

Tyler has over 28 years of experience with Dow, primarily in commercial management and business development within hydrocarbons and feedstocks. Prior roles include President of Dow Canada, Product Director for Gas Phase Polyethylene, U.S. Gulf Coast Ethane Director, and various other supply chains and logistics roles.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Purchasing and Logistics Management from Arizona State University and an Executive MBA from Northwood University.

Ahmad Alrashdan is Business Monitoring and Planning Manager responsible for managing PIC Joint Ventures Portfolio and has participated in multiple merger and acquisition projects. He currently acts as a Board Member of SK Advanced Co. Ltd.

Alrashdan has over 26 years of experience of which he spent five years working in the private sector in various roles. In 2001, he joined Petrochemical Industries Company “PIC”, a subsidiary of the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation. His prior roles include Team Leader Business Development – Olefins, Team Leader Business Monitoring and Planning – Aromatics, and Team Leader Engineering.

Alrashdan holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Kuwait University.
